Hot Rolling Mill Team Leader
Duferco Danish Steel is looking for a Hot Rolling Mill Team Leader
Role description
The Hot Rolling Mill Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Hot Rolling Mill and ensuring safety, quality and productivity standards are met. The role involves the supervision of a team of operators, collaboration with the various departments and reporting to management.
Skills
• Education: Technical diploma or higher education in metallurgy, mechanics, materials science or related.
• Minimum 5/7 years of experience in the production of hot rolling mills (rolling mill for light to medium section, preferably merchant bars), with demonstrated experience in supervising operations, leading staff to guarantee product quality and achieve production objectives production/productivity
• Familiar with steel industry standards, safety regulations and quality control practices
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication and leadership skills and ability to provide clear direction and feedback to team members and management.
• Ability to work in a team in a multicultural environment.
• Fluent in English, Danish is a plus
The selection process includes two remote interviews and a subsequent visit to the plant ( paid by the Company)
Relocation and tax residency in Denmark required.
